Getting to know a foreign country, particularly one that is very different from home, is one of life’s great adventures. Travel is a great experience. Living overseas is even better. There is much to learn and experience and usually much fun to be had. Amidst it all, with the differences in language, cuisine, traditions, etc., the strangest, funniest, goofiest things can happen. Those incidents, while often frustrating in the moment, are also part of what makes the whole experience special.
